Nigel Sims
Nigel is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). Nigel received his blue belt in BJJ under Juliano Prado in 1999. Nigel took some time off from the BJJ journey but returned with a passion and has been training full time at Emerge for three years. Nigel brings a great deal of BJJ knowledge to the gym with a strong ability in classic jiu jitsu that is highly effective. Nigel is currently a Vancouver Firefighter and a military veteran. As a coach Nigel says, "I want to share the benefits of BJJ that I have gained such as patience, problem solving, discipline, humility, and confidence along with strength and flexibility."
